This is a video with so much information that gives insight into what the wisdom is of women in combat really is. So many Americans have no idea of how many women, daughters of our country, who have been deployed to the Global War On Terror have found themselves facing. So many things happen in combat that are never told. Tragedies such as a woman being raped by the men around her, serving beside her, members of the United States Military, are much more common place than you know... and it is your duty and responsibility to know... Many of them survive the battlefield and the threat of the enemy, but do not survive what happened to them at the hands of those they were serving beside. The tragedies of war reach so far beyond the battlefield.

The words here are about my life as the wife of a now retired Soldier. I live on a small ranch in Texas, and my experiences here craft the words I use to express my life. The sacrifices, challenges, and the deeply satisfying rewards of being the wife of such a man influence them as well. I live in a beautiful and peaceful place, and it is great solace and comfort when I face life and the challenges of a complicated and stressed world. So I have titled my writings "From the Ranch."
