Sometimes the Good Die Young,

 http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/military-releases-more-information-on-green-beret-who-died-in-nc-fire-trying-to-save-daughters/2012/03/07/gIQAvNpcwR_story.html

Father God, I cannot understand these events, I cannot imagine how lost and alone this woman feels. The pain and grief are almost too much for me to consider, I do not wish to think of it, because it can happen to any of us, and I fear the darkness of that hour. Though I would do anything to ease the heart of this grieving woman, there is nothing in my power that would be more than a failed attempt. You alone oh God, have the power to bear her through this, and this morning I ask in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ, that you send angels from heaven to keep watch, that you whisper through your Holy Spirit assurance that You are with her, that You will bear this for her, that Your love covers even this, and You promise "joy in the morning." Father in the immediate present she must be unable to think, to make decisions, to carry forward with the responsibilities of her life. Send people in Your name to help with these things. Give missions to your servants of ministration to the immediate and long term needs of her life. Meet every challenge ahead of her, map out her way before her, bear her through the sleepless and lonely nights. God give witness in her life that You are able even this to provide victory in. Be with her this day in such a way as Your presence is almost physical, if she has a personal relationship with You, help her know this too will be a victory of life. If she does not know you personally, send someone with the gospel, with Your truth, and by your Holy Spirit, bring it to her heart. Pour out Your love upon her and her extended family as well. We give You the praise, the honor, and the glory, for we know before we pray, already You work to fulfill our requests.
