She is From One Country, and I From Another

I know a woman who has become so important to me.  She is from one country, and I am from another.  She lost her husband in war,  and that makes us knit together, for it is my greatest fear.  Our lives are very different.  She is strong and brave and goes forward and this makes her a beacon in my life.   With great respect for this remarkable woman... humble words of admiration.

Missing Him So Much

Once a woman wrote to me words that my heart did touch.
“Missing my husband so much, missing him so much.”

An act of war took him, no matter how tightly she did clutch.
“Missing my husband so much, missing him so much.”

She and I know that nobility resides more deeply in men as such.
“Missing my husband so much, missing him so much.”

Once a woman wrote to me words that my heart did touch.
“Missing my husband so much, missing him so much.”
